The Minnesota Vikings are an immensely popular professional American football team that plays in the North Division of the National Football Conference (NFC). Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the team was originally established in 1960 as an expansion team.

Vikings are one of the most successful American football teams in history, having one of the highest winning percentages in the NFL. They play their home games at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis.
