Michael Johnson (1964 ā Present)
Michael Johnson is a world-renowned British graphic designer and author. He was born in Derby, England in 1964. He has worked for some of the most prestigious brand consulting agencies, including Wolff Olins, Smith & Milton, Sedley Place and Dentsu. He established his own design firm, Johnson Banks, in 1992. The firm has worked with many high-profile clients such as Virgin Atlantic, Science Museum, British Film Institute, The Guggenheim Foundation, Sendai Space Observatory, Christian Aid and Pew Center for Arts and Culture.
Johnson is also an accomplished author and writes for various design journals. He also wrote the best-selling book Problem Solved: A Primer in Design and Communication published in 2002 by Phaidon Press. He has numerous awards and accolades, both national and international, to his credit and his work has been exhibited widely in various art galleries and museums throughout the world.
